Abstract

Pleural hyaline plaques are discrete, multiple, usually bilateral, irregular thickenings involving the parietal pleura. The association of pleural plaques with occupational and environmental exposure to asbestos has been shown convincingly. We
have
experienced a case of pleural plaques involving bilateral parietal pleura which was exposed to asbestos for thirty years.
